My friend Becca's website. Rippin' 3-D artist, plus a really awesome person!
Becca's fiancé , and another talented 3-D artist. Plus, his site is fun to play with.
My friend Jason's website. Talented, funny, and slightly evil. A bit too fond of boobs.
My Capcom! Aspiring actor (and good at it!) as well as Jason's #1 woman.
An awesome artist, who I expect will be published soooooon. I also hooked her up with her man, the talented John Griffin (who doesn't have a website... yet).
The best darn Japanese/English/French/Spanish/Chinese/Latin translator that will ever exist. Plus, she's really cool.
My friend Jen's website. Good stuffs from a good soul.
Artists and Writers that I admire
One of my favorite authors, hands down. She writes both the Ukiah Oregon and Tinker series', and they're all yum. "Tinker" is one of my favorite books to re-read.
Another of my favorite authors. She writes the Rachel Morgan books ("Dead Witch Walking", "The Good, the Bad, and the Undead", and "Every Which Way But Dead".
Comic artist who authored "Same Difference", a beautiful piece of comic book goodness.
"Strings of Fate" was a big obsession of mine for a long time, but sadly Jen seems to have lost interest. Her new art and stories are all very good, though.
The Be All, End All of digital painting. Linda Bergkvist is an insanely talented digital artist. I can only dream of someday hanging onto the bottom rung of the bad-ass ladder the's at the top of.
Manga-ka of From Far Away (link is to the VIZ page for "From Far Away"). Full of good storytelling and shoujo goodness.
Manga-ka of "Fruits Basket", a great story for boys and girls, though the girls will probably go nuts over it. I like her because she's a game nerd. (Links to the TokyoPop page for "Fruits Basket".)
Author of the Oh-so-evil manga, "Berserk". He is one heck of a storyteller, and one of the few people who can make you love his characters without you realizing it until it's too late. One of the best visual storytellers ever, in my book. Also, here is the link to the Japanese site for Berserk.
Manhwa-ga of "50 Rules for Teenagers" (a sadly overlooked release in America) and many more stories with beautiful art and cute plots. I'm curious to see where "Peter Panda" is going to go...
